The Department of State Growth has confirmed that resurfacing and line marking works are currently active on the Brooker Highway. The affected stretch is located between Risdon Road and Park Street, impacting Hobart-bound traffic. While crews are primarily working night shifts from 7:30 pm to 5:30 am, partial lane closures and a reduced speed limit remain in place during early morning hours as the site is cleared. CBD Intersection Closures

Navigating the city center will be more difficult today due to ongoing night works that may spill over into the early commute. The intersection of Liverpool Street and Murray Street is undergoing major roadworks, with restrictions scheduled until early April.
